SUNDAY ROASTS

Sunday Lunch

Sundays Done Properly

Some Sundays deserve more than a sandwich. At the Sir George, the Sunday roast is one of the genuine highlights of the week: proper meat, proper roasties, Yorkshire pudding, rich gravy and all the trimmings you would expect from a kitchen that takes its Sunday seriously. Service runs from 12 noon until 5 pm every week, giving you the full afternoon to settle in, take your time and let the day unfold at its own pace. The kitchen rotates the roast menu week to week, with menus posted on social media ahead of the weekend so you know what is coming. Booking is strongly recommended, particularly over bank holidays and the busy summer months when the patio fills up fast.
